I had the seaweed tempura Ahi and my boyfriend had the Ono. Both were very complex and flavorful. Asian Fusion at its best. Our server was delightful. We really enjoyed ourselves. And the view!!!! We have always had a wonderful dining experience and I would certainly recommend it to others. Of special note is the coconut battered onion rings. It is a wonderful appetizer with plenty to share and a terrific sauce. My husband had a fresh tuna sandwich that he really liked. I had rancho huevos with white rice and our friend had the pork chop and eggs with a pancake (a breakfast item). We went on a Sunday after church and they serve breakfast or lunch until 2:00 (I think!). Each of us enjoyed our meals, the outdoor atmosphere right across the street from the water, and the ambience. Several alcoholic beverages were offered at a special price. Denise C. Grand Haven, MI Sam Choy’s Kai Lanai This is a very open and airy place to eat. The seating is on the top of a hill at the edge of a cliff over looking the palm trees and pacific ocean. Very beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful, answering questions and offering tips about the island. The chicken was the best I’ve had in a very long time, not to mention the fantastic drinks. Very tranquil restaurant. Theresa L. The bar was excellent, bartenders were friendly and food was yummy.
