Performing Arts Summer Camps Summer Dance Camp June 19 - June 30 Ages 7 - 16 Director: Angel Prince Summer Dance Camp teaches classes in dance with a focus on Contemporary Dance, Ballet and Hip Hop. Pilates and Yoga classes are also conducted daily. Additional Summer Dance Camp classes include: Acting • Anatomy • Improvisation and Choreography • Makeup Salsa • Jazz Adventures in Polynesia Director: Kalena Ohilo July 3 - July 15 Ages 5 - 12 Classes in Acrobatics, Tumbling, Vaulting and Aerial Silks infused with Polynesian Music, Implements, and Dance. Inspired by the movie Moana, students will also create their own “Moana Skirt” & Maori Poi Balls. *** No camp on July 4, make up day on Sat, July 8 KPAW Kahilu Performing Arts Workshop Director: Marena Dunnington July 17 - July 28 Ages 7 - 12 KPAW teaches stage skills necessary for musical theatre, with a focus on Singing, Acting, and Dancing. Additional classes include playwriting and storytelling, makeup, improvisation, accents and dialects. KPAW teachers are mostly Kahilu education programs alumni now pursuing their acting careers at the collegiate level. SUMMER CAMP ENROLLMENT INFORMATION Camps run Monday through Friday, 10am - 2:30pm Each camp concludes with a performance Fee: $230 for each camp, scholarships are available!
