If you are looking for interesting and different dishes that are excellent this is your place to eat. Each dish was outstanding and the service was excellent. The variety of choices on the menu was excellent and the price range was reasonable ( -$200 … Sake, apps, entrees, 1 dessert) considering the fresh seafood and “Hawaiian prices”. The food came out of the kitchen quickly, as soon as each dish was prepared, it was served. It was not a problem. I would rate this restaurant a top choice if you are in Waikoloa. Syradoc Syracuse, New York CanoeHouse My husband and I ate here our first night at the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel. We did not make reservations earlier that week or even that day and they were completely booked. The hostesses were great and made an effort to get everyone on the list. They did tell use the next available time was 745 p.m. We went to the beach bar and got a drink and came back around 8 p.m. They were still super busy (it was a Friday night). We were lucky and were able to sit at the bar. Allen was the main bartender that took care of us but there was another bartender that was equally awesome. We ate an awesome rib appetizer and a butter lettuce salad. The salad had crazy good flavors! There was bacon and maybe candied bacon (?) in the salad and the butter lettuce was delicious! I had the short ribs which was perfect and my husband had the macadamia nut mahi mahi. The service was excellent and the food was awesome. I would definitely recommend this restaurant even if you are not staying at Mauna Lani Bay Hotel. Malinda9, Pittsburgh Hawaiian Fish N Chips I was craving some fish/seafood when my husband went off to get ribs. I tried the Ahi special plate and LOVED it! The seared ahi came with rice and a salad. The balsamic vinaigrette dressing was perfect and I had two sauces to try with my fish-not that it needed any. I would definitely go back and try other items…They don’t have a website or a menu to go, so you need to decide when you are there. Lots of choices. Kim H. Mankato, Minnesota Ippy’s Hawaiian Barbecue I recently heard that this famous Chef Ippy had restaurants in the Queens MarketPlace in their food court and also in the Kings Shops. We also heard from close friends how great the food is. Today we finally had some time to stop by and grab some lunch. My wife’s friend suggested we try the Chicken Coconut Curry Stew. We so enjoyed his food!! Perfect amount of heat and great tasting food!! We will be back!!
