Rosemary Salt
Know someone who loves roasted potatoes? This flavored
finishing salt will make the potatoes taste extra special!
1 cup salt
12 sprigs fresh rosemary
3 tablespoons black pepper
Place salt in food processor,
while motor running, add in
rosemary leaves, removing them
from the stems. (This order is
important, otherwise the rosemary
will oxidize and turn brown)
Place in sterilized
jars, with this tag:
Cut red potatoes into one
inch cubes. Place them in
cold water at least 30 minutes
and up 2 days in refrigerator,
to get fluffier potatoes.
Place potatoes in rimmed
baking pan in single layer and
place in 400 degree oven.
Roast for 30-40 minutes,
till potatoes are cooked
and starting to brown.
Place in serving platter and
drizzle with rosemary salt.
