Anne. “One
day, I was so ono for spaghetti and I made it the Ornish way with the
brown noodles, pasta sauce, no added salt, oil and cheese. It hit me
right there and then - there was no oil in the spaghetti, which means
there was no oil going into our body, damaging our heart and kidneys.”
Within just four weeks of being in the program, the unimaginable
happened. “My nephrologist, Dr. Curtis Lee asked me: ‘Abe, what
have you been doing?’ You have improved your kidney function by 21%.”
“Dr. Lee told us that he’s never seen this kind of improvement,”
said Abe. “I asked him so what does this mean for me? He said it
depends if I continue my progress, we’ll see after your appointment
in December, but it may mean that I have delayed kidney dialysis for
