4 ONO-LICIOUS | DECEMBER 2, 2016 Word on the Str(eat)! Sam Choy We ate at Sam Choy’s 4 times during our recent 2-week stay. It’s just 1 mile from the Sheraton Hotel, with great sunset views. It’s very casual, the service is very good and the food is excellent. We liked it so much that we took our workshop group of 70 people there for dinner one night. The staff did a great job of setting up a buffet, handling the group with ease, and serving an excellent dinner. This was our “go-to” restaurant during our recent stay on the Big Island because the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Gahoppe Denver, CO Rays On The Bay Don’t forget to book this one. This place is amazing great feel, awesome views and live band. The food was A Grade we got the Rib Eye and Baby Back Ribs bother were the best I’ve ever had. The char on the steak was heaven every bite was so good. The Ribs were fall off the bone and the sauce was so sweet and I just wanted more. We also had dessert Deep Fried Banana Cake OMG this was too die for. Can’t recommend this Rays enough, we also got to see the Mantarays out in the Bay too. Mark S, Niagara Falls, Canada Sansei Seafood This is a popular place in the Queens market in Waikoloa resort area. Go early for 25% off Tuesday to Thursday and I think 50% off on Sunday and Monday. Check those days on website. You have to get there early cause it’s only good for the first hour of opening and there’s a line to get in. Great variety and well-presented and quite flavorful. Excellent service and friendly. Definitely not an intimate atmosphere so go to eat not to enjoy the ambiance. Douglassalanm Fort Worth, Texas Lemongrass Bistro Food at lemongrass is so fresh, colourful and delicious! They have a mix of Thai and Vietnamese and both cuisines are very well delivered. Located in the food court so seating is limited and has a fairly small range of items on the menu but portions are big and tastes great so no complaints here! While we waited for our food, every time they bought food out for another table my mouth watered. Ordered couple appies and one main dish each and everything we ordered was delicious. The manager noticed our waitress being held up by a large table with a lot of questions. He immediately came over with another server to take our order. Once that happens, it doesn’t matter who brings you your meal, anyone of the employees will bring it to you when it’s ready and it just shows up in front of you.
