2 ONO-LICIOUS | DECEMBER 2, 2016 A la Carte Holiday menu unveiled at Denny’s Kona Open 24/7, Denny’s Kona has recently unveiled special menu items for the holidays. Laden with all the fixins, the Turkey & Dressing Dinner ($14.99) features multiple slices of tender, carved turkey breast served on top of savory stuffing and slathered with hearty gravy. Mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce add holiday flavors. All new, the Holiday Cookie Milk Shake ($5.69) is made with premium vanilla ice cream blended with cookie butter and topped with whipped cream and bits of shortbread. And what would the holidays be without pumpkin pie? A slice of delicious pumpkin pie at Denny’s goes for only $2, same as a slice of crunchy pecan pie. For breakfast, kids will love the new Rudolph Pancake Breakfast ($11.49) featuring two eggs and hash browns, plus a fluffy buttermilk pancake shaped like the face of a cartoon reindeer. The pancake comes complete with turkey bacon antlers, plus chocolate eyes and nose embedded in dollops of vanilla cream. The atmosphere at Denny’s Kona is festive throughout the holiday season. Customers and employees recently painted holiday scenes on the windows. A charity “giving tree” sits in the lobby, while Salvation Army kettles are on display at the counter and front entry. Additionally, Santa will be making regular appearances at Denny’s throughout the holidays. Eat at Denny’s and get your photo taken for free with Santa.
