2 ONO-LICIOUS | MARCH 11, 2016 Word on the Str(eat)! Blue Dragon Best dinner of the week. I have never had a more perfectly prepared swordfish. Coconut panna cotta was light, fresh, and the sauce was amazing. Great specialty cocktail and solid wine list (better than most of the resort offerings) didn’t hurt either. Live band tonight played to a packed dance floor all night. Save me a table; we will be back for sure! Bret C., Redondo Beach, CA Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse I got the filet and it was By far the best steak I have ever had! Absolutely delicious! There au gratin potatoes are just as good! We were a group of five and no one left disappointed! My boyfriends brother asked the waiter to surprise home and the waiter definitely hit the mark with the bone-in ribeye! Must try!! Chelsea B.,Perris, CA Paradise Pizza & Grill Let’s face it. There are fabulous restaurants on the Big Island, but sometimes you just want a good burger and one that doesn’t cost a great amount. A local resident recommended this place when we were hungry for burgers and just wanted to eat at a reasonable price and have a quick meal. We were not misled - the burgers were delicious - my sister had the regular burger and I had the swiss and mushroom burger - both were delicious and both under $10. Onelnsbt, Lake Wissota, Wisconsin HABANEROS GRILL Got Mole? Mole ~ a Traditional Mexican sauce made with a variety of ingredients, depending on the region a person is from. A common legend of its creation takes place at the Convent of Santa Rosa in Puebla early in the colonial period. Upon hearing that the archbishop was going to visit, the convent nuns went into a panic because they were poor and had almost nothing to prepare. The nuns prayed and brought together the little bits of what they did have, including chili peppers, spices, day-old bread, nuts, and a little chocolate. They killed an old turkey, cooked it and put the sauce on top; the archbishop loved it. When the nun was asked the name of the dish, she replied, “I made a mole.” Mole was the ancient word for mix; now this word mostly refers to the dish. At Habaneros Grill our mole is made fresh using a variety of dried chiles, grilled tomatoes, onions, garlic, peppercorn, raisins, almonds, peanuts and chocolate.
