Spoon Shop’s demonstration kitchen a destination for foodies
his season’s lineup of cooking
classes at The Spoon Shop has
all the ingredients for success
just in time for holiday party
planning.
Located in the New Industrial near Home
Depot, the gourmet cookware store features a
brand-new demonstration kitchen where chefs
and culinary experts present a great array of
classes all year long.
Coming up on November 19 from 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m., the Meatless Monday workshop
will explore delicious plant-based version
of favorite Thanksgiving Day recipes with
Chef Sarah. The gluten-free and vegan dishes
include a mushroom “meatloaf ” served with
gravy, cranberry sauce and stuffi ng. Chef
Sarah will also be teaching a Meatless
Mexican-inspired lunch class on
Monday, November 12 that showcases
jackfruit nachos.
On November 8, Chef Samantha Johnson
will demonstrate how to cook three different
dim sum dishes including pork dumplings
from scratch.
Spoon Shop owner Tracy Ackerman is busy
fi nalizing the December cooking class
schedule. A German Christmas-cookie
making class is in the works, along with a Zen
vegetarian class coming soon.
