in Kona. They soon developed a natural friendship
and formed a tribe. Along with their combined
entrepreneurial and business backgrounds, their
love for beauty and design was another thing they
shared in common. When they first contemplated
the idea of launching a design service, they knew
there would be a niche and a need.
“We moved forward with our plan and started out
slowly,” said Anza. “We have natural roles that fell
into place easily. I’m so grateful for our friendships.
We quickly learned how much we enjoy each
other’s company. It’s so nice to be working with
such strong, supportive and inspiring women.”
The trio works outside of the “decorating box” by
creating custom craft pieces, plus unique groupings
and original concepts tailored specifically for each
client. From simple and elegant festive décor to a
deck-the-halls approach, their designs also extend
to outdoor installations such as entries, courtyards
and lanais. Last year, their courtyard lights for a
property at The Bluffs at Mauna Kea Beach Resort
were a real showstopper.
“The fun part is that there are so many different
themes to pursue, whether rustic, elegant,
whimsical or tropical,” said Rebekah. “Here in
Hawai‘i we can incorporate natural elements like
monstera, protea, driftwood, ferns, coral and all
kinds of amazing things including the incredible
rainbow-colored eucalyptus bark that can be
displayed in tall, rustic vases. Creating beautiful,
festive environments suited to Hawai‘i is what we
are all about.”
