The following is a sampling of some of the best happy hours in West Hawaii: Held Tuesday through Saturday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., happy hour at Habaneros Grill presents great deals on wine and beer. House wines go for $4 per glass, while draft beer goes for $3.50 a mug. Mexican imports on draft include Corona Light, Negra Modelo, Pacifico, Modelo Especial, and Dos Equis Amber. For a South-of-the-Border toast, Habaneros Grill serves sangria for $4 a glass, well drinks for $5.50 and a “Happy Margarita” for $5 during happy hour. Located at Walua Road and Ali‘i Drive, Habaneros Grill also offers affordably priced appetizers for around $7, such as the bean-and-cheese nachos or chicken taquitos. At Bongo Ben’s, happy hour takes place daily from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The restaurant’s extensive beer roster includes 14 extra-cold beers on tap including Fire Rock Pale Ale, Castaway IPA, Longboard Lager, Big Wave Golden Ale and Wailua Wheat Ale.
