This is our 4th visit to the Canoehouse, which is
always one of the high points of our dining experiences
when we stay on the “Big Island”. Reservations are es-
sential if you want to enjoy a breathtaking sunset while
enjoying a tremendous dinner. They have a very nice
wine selection that varies in price and can fit within
any budget. Their salads are fresh and very tasty, their
specials are well worth experiencing and you must
save room for one of their mouth-watering desserts.

Sam Choy, Kailua-Kona
I came here for lunch with my family and Sam Choy
had a wide variety of delicious dishes. The restaurant
had a nice atmosphere, it was a very open space with
seating inside and outside. From the restaurant you
can look out and see the ocean. It was a very calm
and friendly environment to eat at. I highly recom-
mend eating at this restaurant if you are in the area.

Los Habaneros
Habaneros Grill — A delightful experience! The
environment was fun with clean, bright decorating
and great artwork.Drinks are made with premium
hooch and fresh juices. So great to get away from the
high fructose stuff in my cocktail. Try the Mexican
Mai Tai!They incorporate a lot of fresh fish with in-
teresting and complex flavors in the menu. We had
the two featured specials and they were excellent.
Hostess and server were friendly and attentive. Pric-
es are very reasonable. We’ll be returning soon.
