FEATURING A NEW COASTAL CUISINE MENU INSPIRED BY LOCAL FLAVORS. SHERATON KONA RESORT & SPA AT KEAUHOU BAY Reservations call 808-930-4949 / yelp.com Word on the Str(eat)! Rays on the Bay My husband and I had cocktails and pupus here! The newly renovated space was beautiful and the entire staff seemed to be very happy and proud of the new place. The setting is out of this world and the sunset was right there in front of us… not a bad seat in the house! The live entertainment by Robbie Lee on ukulele with a contemporary flair was excellent and unforgettable! The pupus were hot and delicious. The service friendly and efficient. One must try this place. #hawaiinot? constanceleelee Sioux Falls, SD Bongo Ben’s Island Café This place has it all, Great view, Great food and service. The Bloody Marys are the best in Kona, try the biscuits and gravy they are to die for. Breakfast get busy so be prepared to wait for a few minutes, it’s worth the wait. T634SIjamesd CA Foster’s Kitchen I went back twice. The first time I had the burger, (don’t knock it) it was local beef and was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Afterwards I had cheesecake for dessert. The second day I had the Hawaiian BBQ pizza. Great prices and like I said great service too. You’d be silly not to try it. Scott S. Royal Thai Café The food was really tasty! We ordered the yellow curry with chicken, pad see ew with beef, and a chicken soup that I can’t recall the name for. All of these were really good. The service was also great. Our server was very friendly and the atmosphere inside was nice and clean. We also had Thai tea, which was good as well. People try to compare restaurants to other restaurants but I don’t think that’s right. Obviously it doesn’t taste like the one I usually go to but guess what, it’s not the same place! Go figure. Each restaurant has their own way of preparing food. As long as it’s good who cares that it doesn’t taste like the one you’re used to? I had a good experience here and if I ever visit Kona again I’ll definitely be coming here again. Ariel R. Los Angeles, CA Island Gourmet Markets This is a local market in the Queen’s MarketPlace that carries a pretty good selection of food not found in other general stores. Nice stock of deli items and normal food store items along with clothing, souvenirs and misc. There seemed to be tables just outside the deli section where people could eat and relax. Decent selection of souvenirs at a better price than some other stores. There is a local shuttle available from the Marriott and Hilton that is minutes away from the shopping center for $2 per adult, which is a nice feature if one doesn’t have a car.
