For mouthwatering “starters,” guests of the Mother’s Day Brunch will feast on chilled specialties such as traditional ahi poke, New Zealand Mussell Kim Chee; Shrimp Cocktail; Smoked Marlin Dip with cheese and crackers; and Bay Shrimp Salad with water chestnut and herbed mayo. Also part of the appetizer buffet will be Grilled Bruschetta, Organic Cucumber Namasu, Somen Noodle Salad, and Grilled Local Peach Palm Hearts. Save room for dessert because there’s plenty of it. Desserts include Chocolate-Dipped Waimea Strawberries, Sweet-n-Sour Lemon Bars, Old-School Apple Pie, Chefs’ Selection of Petit Fours, and Hawaiian Sweetbread French Toast served with caramelized bananas.
