A: One of our most popular dishes is the minced chicken lettuce cups. We were the first ones to serve it in Hilo, more than 30 years ago. It’s still popular today. Our authentic Taiwanese beef noodle soup also is really good. Even native Taiwanese people would think we have done a good job with it. Q: What is one of Sky Garden’s signature dishes? A: The shrimp sandwich is our own creation. People come every week and order it again and again. It’s shrimp with Swiss cheese, basil pesto and tomatoes served on sourdough bread. Q: What’s something that most people don’t know about dining at Sky Garden Restaurant? A: You don’t have to be an ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center member to dine at Sky Garden Restaurant. Also, reservations aren’t required but they are highly recommended, as we are busy for lunch and dinner.
