Participants fish anywhere on the Big Island. Prizes are awarded for pelagic and in-shore fish, the biggest fish overall wins the grand prize kayak. Early entry fee is only $40 and open to everyone that will fish from a non-motorized kayak, outrigger canoe, or SUP. We also give out a great prize for the “closest to a mystery weight” category, where the mystery weight is randomly chosen after the weigh-in is closed on Sunday.
