Anabelle Smith has been a
proud and happy resident
of Kona since 1997. She had
traveled extensively and
lived in several different countries, but
always dreamed of living on an island.
She loves wide-open spaces, a diversity
of climates and beautiful tropical

Island for the first time in the mid ’90s,
she immediately realized that it was

sold her house in California, packed
her bags and moved to Hawaii.
Shortly after arriving in Kona, she

only a beer budget. It took me nearly
six months of searching to find the
right home for myself. I love it, and I
still live there to this day!”
Her experience searching for and
