The server will bring extra bowls and plates to your table so that everyone in your party can sample the amazing array offerings such as the crab ramen, seared salmon and tiger prawns, or the Chinese-style sashimi snapper. “This is ohana-style dining,” Tom Alejado, managing partner at Sansei. “We encourage people to order whatever they want and share it with their party.” Among Sansei’s award winners include the Panko- Crusted Fresh Ahi Sashimi, a delicious appetizer that’s beautifully wrapped in arugula and spinach and served with a soy-wasabi butter sauce. In keeping with Sansei’s innovative menu, the Asian Shrimp Cake features crispy Chinese noodles served over ginger-lime-chilibutter and cilantro pesto. The Shrimp Dynamite is another good bet, brimming with crispy tempura shrimp tossed with a garlic masago aioli-andunagi glaze drizzle. DK’s Crab Ramen with Asian Truffle Broth is another must-try dish, featuring crab, cilantro, Thai basil and mild jalapenos. Opened in 2008, the Waikoloa Sansei became an instant destination due to its entertaining atmosphere, sterling hospitality and creative entrees. In business in the Hawaiian Islands for more than 20 years, the Sansei team opened its first restaurant at the Kapalua Resort on Maui. With four successful locations currently in Hawaii, Sansei has recently added a fifth restaurant in Seattle. Every day of the week, Sansei offers the aforementioned earlybird discounts.
