LICIOUS!December 23, 2016 Romano’s Macaroni Grill Announces New Menu Additions at Waikoloa Beach Resort PASTA DISHES, SEAFOOD, LUNCH COMBOS HIGHLIGHT EXPANDED MENU BY KAREN ANDERSON SPECIAL TO WEST HAWAII TODAY Located at Queens’ MarketPlace in the heart of Waikoloa Beach Resort, Romano’s Macaroni Grill has just announced that its popular menu will be bigger and better than ever, thanks to new additions like Chicken Scaloppine, Butternut Asiago Tortellaci, Shrimp Scampi, as well as Neapolitan-Style Artisan Pizza baked in a brick oven at 600 degrees. Newly appointed General Manager Ron Gonzales says the expanded, new menu brings even more choices to patrons of the family-friendly, sit-down restaurant at Waikoloa Beach Resort. “We’ll be adding more fish and pasta dishes as well as lunch combos,” said Ron. “We also have bigger selections of antipasta, plus more chicken, beef, pork, and seafood selections, too.” A veteran of the dining scene at Waikoloa Beach Resort, Ron is leading the new turnaround at the Waikoloa location of Romano’s ROMANO’S MACARONI GRILL Where: Queens’ MarketPlace 69-201 Waikoloa Beach Dr. Phone: 443-5515 Macaroni Grill, which up until now, had featured a “trimmed-down” version of Romano’s menus featured on the mainland. Among the new highlights is the Artisan Pizza, says Ron: “We were serving flatbread pizzas, but now we will be switching to traditional, round pizzas. One of the new ingredients we’re using is imported buffalo mozzarella. The Farmhouse pizza, for example, is very popular. It includes butcherchopped bacon, prosciutto and pepperoni as well as sautéed spinach, mozzarella, fonduta, and Parmesan.” Open from 8 a.m. to 10:45 p.m., Romano’s Macaroni Grill serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
