Widespread sunshine will be in control across the eastern half of
the United States today. A continuous surge of moisture will bring the risk for showers
and thunderstorms across Florida and the Gulf Coast. Showers and thunderstorms will
dot much of the Rockies and Pacific Northwest. Moisture from Linda will bring rain to
