Becher was a mother, friend, attorney and beloved member of the Hilo theater community. “Sadly, we lost her after complications of a necessary heart surgery in July,” said Rachel Klein, one of Becher’s friends. “This concert and show will be performed in her memory by her many friends in the theater community.” “Forever In Our HeARTS” will feature scenes, songs and dances from a number of shows in which Becher has performed. The evening of laughter and loving memories will honor Becher and help to raise funds for her husband and two young sons. The community is invited to join Becher’s friends in remembering her “for all of the brightness she brought to our world through the arts,” Klein said. A $20 donation is suggested; all proceeds benefit the Becher ‘ohana. Tickets are available in advance from performers and at the Palace Theater box office. Remaining tickets will be available at the door. For more information, call the Palace Theater at 934-7010.
