A la Carte Royal Thai Café Presents Abundance of Specials Whether the Crispy Duck, the Spicy Mixed Seafood, the Fiery Game Hen, the Royal Thai Surf & Turf, or the Thai Special Chicken, the offerings at Royal Thai Café in Keauhou Shopping Center include a plethora of nightly specials. Featuring fresh, local ingredients, and the best, imported noodles from Thailand, the landmark restaurant near the movie theaters is the perfect place to go before or after catching a show. One of the most popular specials on the menu, the Royal Thai Diamond Seafood (market price) features broiled lobster tail, giant shrimp, scallops, squid and fillet of fish mixed with vegetables and topped with oyster sauce. Loyal patrons also enjoy the Shrimp Rad Khang, a quintessential Thai dish showcasing cooked jumbo shrimp topped with Thai curry sauce and mixed vegetables for $15.95. Another nightly special, the Royal Thai Foursome lives up to its name and features shrimp, pork, beef and chicken sautéed with mixed vegetables for $15.95. The Royal Thai Flush includes jumbo shrimp and scallops, while the Royal Thai Special Chicken ($15.95) is topped with peanut sauce. All sauces are made in-house, including the five different options of spicy sauces. The wine list highlights selections from Italy, France, California and Washington. Most of the wines by the glass are priced at $7. Desserts are also homemade. Check out the Tapioca Pudding made with sweet Hawaiian potato, or the Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango.
