His first bike rental was to a customer out of a gazebo in the Kona Inn Shopping Village and that bike rental business has grown into a trio of stores that includes Bike Works Kona, a full service bike and triathlon shop on Luhia Street of Kona’s Industrial Area. Miller credits their expert sta† for the welcoming atmosphere at Bike Works, where each customer is greeted with enthusiasm to make their cycling experience the best it can be. It is more than a job to the shop crew who are active in West Hawaii’s network of sports activities whether it is organizing, racing, volunteering, or simply riding for pure fun. With 20 years of bike experience Shop Manager Vern Sekafetz is constantly on the move bringing innovation to shop operations. Service Manager Farran Hart has a passion for bikes that shows in his dedication to keep your bike riding smoothly.
