Unfortunately it’s often hotter inside the home than on the Lanai. “I was looking for a way to keep my indoor/ outdoor lifestyle”. Says Lori Nakamura of Keaau, “When I come home at the end of the day, the last thing I want to do is close my home and chill the air. Because QuietCool works with open windows I’m comfortable for more of the year than with just AC.” Installed in the attic space, QuietCool draws hot air out of the living area through a ceiling intake while ventilating the home’s living space. Lori’s system is comprised of a central fan and second fan in her master bedroom. Says Lori, “Our area is hot during the day, but when the QuietCool were switched on, I had a cool breeze drawn into the bedrooms. My system has worked so well!” Molly Harris of Kamuela agrees. “Since I installed my system in 2012, it’s been great. Even though it’s hot here, by not having to run the A/C for the pets during the day it’s saved us money off the electric bills. I tell my clients about it, I am definitely an advocate of QuietCool fans.” Island Cooling LLC is Hawaii’s authorized distributor of QuietCool. Call (808)672-2300, or visit www.islandcooling.com
