The graphs illustrate a similar pattern between the two markets of Kona and Kohala. Inventories are down in both areas with Kohala having leveled off already and Kona most likely leveling off by the end of July. Sales peaked for the winter season in both areas in March of this year but have held strong since. Pending escrows peaked in both areas in April and we have been gradually closing those sales in May and June. Other than the low inventory I don’t see any indications of the sales slowing or prices easing up in the near future, it seems like we have some momentum that will carry our market for some time to come.
