Foster’s Kitchen
to serve special
menu items on
Father’s Day
BY KAREN ANDERSON
SPECIAL TO WEST HAWAII TODAY
Chef Sheldon Meza, of Foster’s Kitchen, has just
unveiled his special Father’s Day menu at the ocean-front
restaurant in Kailua-Kona.
The main entrée will be sautéed snapper served with
coconut crab beurre blanc, Okinawan mashed potatoes
and grilled asparagus. For dessert, Chef Meza will be
making peach cobbler utilizing fresh peaches. The tan-talizing
dessert will be baked in-house and served with
Tropical Dreams Tahitian Vanilla Ice Cream.
To pair, Koloa Kauai dark rum will be the star ingre-dient
of a craft cocktail known as the “Hawaiian Storm,”
made with handcrafted soursop syrup and muddled
ginger.
“With our new second location to be opening soon
at the Kings’ Shops, we are thrilled to invite dads (and
uncles) to come in to our flagship, Kailua-Kona location
for fresh, local, from-scratch cuisine,” said Jeff Foster,
proprietor of Foster’s Kitchen.
Whether innovative entrées, delicious appetizers or
amazing desserts, Chef Meza’s cuisine is prepared
