It was a long day and we were tired from our activities. I made reservations at a fancy but got too tired to drive anywhere. We ordered a pepperoni pizza for kids, ahi tuna roll and lobster fried rice for adults. Everything was cooked perfectly, served hot and tasted fresh. Service was impeccable. There was live piano music by a very talented musician that we all really enjoyed. Highly recommended if you are in this area. D.I. Fremont, CA Los Habaneros What a great little find, the best Mexican food we found in Hawaii! Staff was super friendly to us and we thought the food was awesome! We tried a variety of dishes across two visits including tacos, quesadillas, fajitas and churros. Really enjoyed the margaritas too! Awesomely priced and a relief from us as travellers to escape resort food!! KatL700 Canberra, Australia Bongo Ben’s We came here for breakfast several times during our stay in Kona. The French toast was delicious. The staff was quick with the service and refills on the coffee. The openair seating with a view of Alii Drive added to the pleasant meal. Matthew T. Glassboro, NJ Foster’s Kitchen Great food / great ocean view while you dine / fantastic service. We had to go back for a second meal it was so good (something we rarely do on holidays as we try to get in as much local cuisine as possible) Rib eye was tender and cooked how we asked, fish tacos were fresh and delicious, drinks were mixed well. Oh and if you are a desert person - try the monkey bread :) Brad0514 Calgary, Canada Ruth’s Chris I was there last month with a party of 10. I’m glad that they offered a children’s menu and such great appetizers! The kids were able to try Escargot and Oysters Rockefeller. Turns out the ones that liked the escargot didn’t like the oysters and vice versa. The steaks were good of course as well as everything else. But I tasted my nephews Lobster Mac and Cheese! I should have gotten an order of that to go with my Brussel Sprouts! I didn’t order steak because I wasn’t in the mood for it but I did get a couple bites from my hubby. Karen T.
