8 ONO-LICIOUS | JULY 21, 2017 Word on the Str(eat)! I got great. The shell of the soufflé crumbles under the spoon and liquified fudge slowly oozes out. Beaty to behold and taste. With the vanilla ice cream they gave me on the side, it was too good. This place serves you food like they really mean it, and the experience was phenomenal. Nothing could have been better. The waiters & waitresses really care, and we tipped ours very well. Until next time. Not only do they treat you like royalty, but the food is exceptional. Also worth noting, the restaurant filled up quickly as soon as they opened- a sign of popularity and good service. Because I love crab cakes, I ordered the Blue Crab Cakes as an appetizer. They came swiftly, and looked amazing. They had a thin, crunchy layer on top to keep all the goodness in. Every part just overwhelmed you with flavors, they really raised the bar of what I would expect from crab cakes in the future. While they were small, they filled me up. Couldn’t have been better. The Butterfish was highly recommended on the menu, so I chose it to be my entree. Not only did it look masterfully crafted with every piece of it neatly arranged, but it was truly the best fish I’d every tasted. It’s no exaggeration that, as a flaky meat, it melts in your mouth. The sauce and diced tomatoes toppings just added onto the sheer awesomeness of the dish. I almost never eat my lentils, but the ones on the side of the plate were so good and flavorful that I didn’t think I’d forgive myself if I just left them there to go to waste. Lastly, I got a free chocolate soufflé since I told them I was checked in on yelp (really great deal). As with the previous two dishes, I expected good… 886-8600 886-3400 IN THE FOOD COURT: HOURS Queens’ Marketplace 9:30am - 9:30pm • Restaurant and Food Court hours may vary Located 20 min. The staff is friendly and I love that they serve their water in glass bottles, so refreshing. My Won Ton Mein was phenomenal. Lots of taste, the broth is top notch, fulfilling and just enough. Definitely going back soon. Micah A. Hilo, HI Charley’s Thai Cuisine Family of four with diverse palates and spice tolerances. Our server couldn’t have been better at accommodating us. The food was fantastic and our waitress full of smiles and helpful information. Hidden in the corner of a shopping mall. Prices were very reasonable. Thanks!!! Greg E. Rapid City, SD The Koa Table My wife and I were extremely impressed with the quality and quantity of the food at The Koa Table! Our server was absolutely phenomenal, and was very attentive to our needs. We had the lumpia and crab mac & cheese as appetizers and the Ni’ihau Lamb Loco Moco and their fresh catch (which was marlin) as our main courses. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious! We will absolutely return here when we vacation in Hawai’i again! Mike M. West Sand Lake, NY A-Bay’s Island Grill The swordfish special with shrimp and fettucine was amazing. The sauce was just the right amount of flavor and spice. We met Bryan, the owner, at a Huana bar down the street and he recommended his restaurant (of course!). Sure glad we ran in to him. The A Bay’s Grill was excellent. Mary L. Chino Hills, CA
