Fry graduated from Ontario College of Art, Canada’s top art school, over 50 years ago. Fry enjoyed an extensive career in advertising graphics, mainly in Los Angeles and San Diego. Over the years she took many courses and workshops to further her career in fine art. Before coming to Hawaii she studied under Robert Perine, a well known watercolor painter and author. She was one of the original founding members of the Kailua Village Artists and working member over 27 years. Fry joined the Blue Sea Artisans Gallery two years ago and works at the gallery every Wednesday afternoon. During her featured month, she offers a gift of one of her small matted prints to the public, when they come to the gallery while she is working. Over the last five years she has been a member of the West Hawaii Plein Air Painters, enjoying the challenges of painting outdoors on Fridays, the beaches and scenic areas of the Kona Coast. A lot of her originals painted on site are available at the gallery. The Blue Sea Artisans Gallery is located in the Keauhou Shopping Center, Courtyard, 78-6831 Alii Drive, Kailua-Kona. For more information call the gallery at 329- 8000. The Gallery is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday- Saturday and from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Sundays. ■ Breakfast all day? Yes way.
