But think again. Located at the Kings’ Shops in Waikoloa Beach Resort, Island Fish & Chips offers a fantastic breakfast menu daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The menu includes such local favorites as the Island Fish Loco Moco Plate teeming with rice and tempura fish fillet topped with an egg and gravy and served with a side of fresh island fruit. For hearty appetites, the Island Fish & Chips Breakfast Platter features two eggs (scramble or fried) served with signature tempura fish, rice or potatoes and fresh fruit. There’s also a similar breakfast plate that offers choice of sausage or bacon with your eggs. Order a cup of coffee or tea to complement your lakeside breakfast. Made with French vanilla or mocha, a cup of iced coffee is another great way to start your day. If your kids are craving something sweet for breakfast, they are in for a treat. The Hawaiian Style Belgian Waffle comes complete with sliced bananas, coconut flakes, macadamia nuts, whipped cream and coconut syrup. Another sweet treat, the Filipino Banana Lumpia also fits the bill. Additional breakfast offerings include the Breakfast Burrito loaded with eggs, potatoes and other tasty delights. A fun twist on traditional biscuits and gravy, the Sausage Gravy & Waffle Biscuits are served with a side of fruit. Top it with an egg for an extra $2. A classic breakfast staple, the Smoked Salmon Bagel is topped with capers, red onions and cream cheese on a crispy bagel.
