Redwood City, CA Foster’s Kitchen Our first day on the Island, my daughter and I stopped here for lunch and were so glad we did! The food was fresh (farm to table) and delicious and the service was great. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful, giving us tips about what to visit while on the Island. You can’t beat the amazing views as well since you sit on the second floor of the building. Just wish we had gotten back there before we left! A TripAdvisor Member Daiichi Ramen We visited on their grand opening for dinner and as expected, it was very busy. We called ahead to reserve a table. On arrival, the hostess kindly accommodated us when we said we didn’t want the available counter seats right next to the front door. She seated us at the next available counter seats along the kitchen. Service overall was very friendly and efficient. Ordered the Tonkotsu Udon (personal favorite) with Gyoza & Tonkotsu Ramen. Great food for great prices. Frequented the Daiichi Ramen locations on Oahu and was very happy to find that the food quality here was identical to their other locations. Dining area inside is small, I hope they expand in the future because it can feel quite crowded, especially on a busy night. Overall, great food, great service, great prices — highly recommend! Mandy-Lee M. Honolulu, HI Ippy’s Hawaiian Barbeque at Queens’ MarketPlace No better value for local Hawaiian plate in the Island. Delicious, fresh seafood and barbecue and its cheap! Chef Ippy prices his plates to cater to the locals as much as the tourist, thank you Chef. His more upscale place across the street “ Koa’s Table” has the best meal I had in all the restaurants we had eaten at. ‘ DA whole fish “ fresh local caught Snapper...my mouth is watering just thinking of how delicious that was. El cid G Snohomish, Washington Noodle Club A random find on our drive on the island in Waimea. We ordered Shisito Peppers and Gyoza as appetizers which were delicious. The peppers had an amazing Parmesan sauce. For our entree we had the special which was Seared Kauai prawns on sweet garlic noodles which was the highlight.
