ONO-LICIOUS | JUNE 9, 2017 7 Word on the Str(eat)! Foster’s Kitchen Aloha, thanks to fellow Yelpers, we lunched at Foster’s. It was our first time for all 3 of us. The view from the 2nd floor deck was awesome, mesmerizing staring at the ocean, nice. The tropical trade-wind breeze gave a perfect temperature, nice. Our server (new) was on-it & her very helpful shadow added here & there. The po-boy sandwich with salad and fish & chips was fresh & prepared well (the corn breading was different, I prefer panko). The pizza was good but you gotta like the thick crust as it’s pretty bready. Beer choice good & iced tea with lots of refills good. All in all a decent lunch. Saw other colleagues in the restaurant lunching too. I think I’d like to try dinner next time. Rob B. Honolulu Bongo Ben’s Island Cafe Top marks for setting the tables on the street all facing the ocean. The service was very good, we had server ID 44 (sorry, forgot her name). And the manager/ owner came over personally to see if things were OK. Pretty good for a shared pizza & two cocktails! Great view, get to watch all the people walk by.
