Aunty Tutu is a warm and all-encompassing woman in her seventies who holds the whole story together weaving stories of Hawaii’s history together with excellent dancers and singers, great musical accompaniment and a fire eater too. The buffet is excellent with traditional Hawaiian fare - all held under the starry skies on the Hawaiian lawn. Don’t miss this happy Polynesian experience.” — Shirwell Robyn K, Cape Town Central, South Africa Daylight Mind Cafe “We had passed this restaurant in the Queens Shopping Center in Waikoloa over the years, but never had gone in until this trip. It looked intriguing and several passer-bys suggested it had the best and most reasonable breakfasts in the area so we decided to try it on our last morning in Waikoloa. What a gem!!! The breakfasts were excellent and quite reasonable considering the costs for similar fare at the Hilton and Marriott hotels, although not cheap. The service was very attentive and the food was delicious. and plentiful.” — shmillermd, Murrieta, California Denny’s “We ate breakfast here after a late night arrival to our rental house. A menu for almost anyone and lots of coffee. Food came hot and well prepared.” — stevemac52, Saskatoon, Canada Foster’s Kitchen “My husband and I finally got around to trying Foster’s Kitchen for dinner this evening and what a delightful experience. We both decided on the blackened shrimp with cheese grits, and chard with bacon all topped with a fried egg. The shrimp was lightly seasoned, the cheese grits very creamy and the chard very flavorful with the smoky bacon. This entree was a great choice for our first dinner at Fosters. We started our meal with gin martinis which were perfect and ended the meal with Tahitian vanilla ice cream and Kona coffee ( Keurig). We had great service…..thank you Rebekah. We also appreciated the manager, Kyle Mishiyama, as well as the owner,Jeff Foster, checking in with us asking how we like our entrees. They both explained that are trying to give diners a little different choice as far as the menu selections. My husband has celiac disease requiring gluten free options which Foster’s Kitchen can easily accommodate as some of the menu selections are made with gluten free ingredients such as corn starch or cornmeal. My husband is looking forward to trying the fish and chips next time. We will be back.” — kiana59, Kailua Kona Marble Slab Creamery “Located in the Queen’s Marketplace, this establishment serves up an excellent variety of ice cream. Within walking distance of the Marriott, it was a great place to visit after a nice dinner to feed my sweet tooth. Usually a small line and not cheap, but that simply means its good! Lots of outdoor seating and nearby shops to browse.” – 8640, Bishop, CA Royal Thai Cafe “We first ate at this place back in 2009 and we loved the food and the service so much, that we started coming here again and again. The service is always fast and very friendly. The food is amazing (not spicy, as I like it), made with fresh seasonal vegetables and island grown pineapples. The menu is big and would satisfy many choosy palates. Ice Thai coffee is the drink one must try. We love the food from this cafe so much, that when we don’t have time for a proper dining out experience, we order the food there and take it home and always have the same great experience with their dishes.” — Tatiana L Los Habañeros “Always outstanding. We ate at both locations. Keauheau for lunches and Alii for dinner. Love the Chicken Mole.” – Richard S, Kailua-Kona Paradise Pizza and Grill “Everyone in our family wanted something different for dinner so we chose to eat at the Queens Marketplace Food Court. Everyone in our party ate at this one restaurant as the menu has a huge variety of food. We had pulled pork sandwich, pizza, spaghetti, and chicken alfredo. It all was delicious.” — Tricia W, Valrico, FL PRIME RIB AT BONGO BEN’S FRI.–SAT.–SUN.
