Parashuram will talk about the musical traditions that are over 5,000 years old, including both classical raga and folk music of Nepal. She returns to Genesis Galleries on Saturday where she will take part in a live painting event. A celebrated artist at age 15, Milan’s paintings can be found in private collections in the United States, Europe, Asia and beyond. She began Milan developing her style and ability at age 5. Her paintings reflect a dreamy world where anything is possible and fearless subjects coexist. Milan has also made it one of her life’s mission to make a difference in other’s lives by giving back to charitable causes. Her paintings are regularly donated to nonprofit organizations and advocates against human trafficking, including “Comfy Cozies 4 Cancer.” Milan’s parents, who are both artists, will also appear on Saturday at the gallery.
