Your Foodie Guide t to great eating in West Hawaii ONO-LICIOUS!October 14, 2016 Foster’s Kitchen Features Casual Gourmet Dining on the Oceanfront The newly opened Foster’s Kitchen on Alii Drive has created an incredible amount of buzz in Kailua- Kona since its recent grand opening Oct. 4. And for good reason! Located above the sand volleyball court at Coconut Grove Marketplace, the hip and casually fun venue offers gourmet food at reasonable prices, not to mention signature cocktails on par with metropolitan restaurants, live music seven nights a week, great service and sterling hospitality, plus an oceanfront view and cool breezes to boot. Whether the flatbread pizzas, steakhouse pasta, herb-crusted lamb chops or chicken Marsala, a majority of the beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared menu items are priced from $14-$21 and feature locally sourced products served with artisanal flair. A veteran of the Kona dining scene (most recently he was general manager of Splasher’s), Jeff Foster, along with his wife, Sarah, decided the time was right to open their own restaurant.
