6 1916 KTA 2016 This circle collectively represents Koichi and Taniyo Taniguguchi’s fi ve daughters, namely Miyako Kudo, Emiko Fujikawa, Sayoko Kawasaki, Mutsuko Hiraoka, and Sachiko Chun. This circle also represents the Hawaiian sun which blesses the Island of Hawaii. As the good luck symbols for KTA, the four diamonds represent Koichi and Taniyo Taniguchi’s four sons, namely Yukiwo, Toshiyuki, Hidetoshi and Tony. The two fl at planes symbolize Hilo and Kona where KTA originally focused its major eƒ ort in serving customers. The points of the diamonds symbolize Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, the two largest volcanoes making up the Island of Hawaii. The diamond cluster gives an impression of a crown and a feeling of leadership.
